A substantial Victorian terrace in Islington which had not been touched for 40 years, a great starting point to shape the client’s dream house.

Most original features had been destroyed so we carefully refurbished and restored the interior, rebuilt the facades with new sash windows and added a side extension and loft conversion.

Entering the house you find the restored hallway with two traditionally restored rooms with a library and sliding glass doors and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. Leading down the new stairs you enter a large kitchen dining space leading to the lush garden. Going further up the stairs you will find modern and traditional bathrooms, a utility room, a kids’ room, a guest room and a master bedroom with an ensuite tucked in between two rooms. Finally reaching the top of the house you will find another large guest room, bathroom and plenty of storage.

The rooms each have their individual character and work together in harmony creating a warm and inviting family home.
