Andrewes House Barbican Centre, London
The concept rearranges the area to create adaptable living quarters and significantly better storage. The goal of the requirement was to maximise the amount of natural light in the area while allowing for three distinct zones to be created in the open plan design. A key aspect of the space’s experience is the visual connection to the distinctive fountain in the Barbican Center’s lake. Although small, the area offers lots of room for hosting guests, lounging on the couch while watching a movie, or working from home. The bathroom was redesigned to incorporate a curved shower wall.
